Stuff

One of the keys to a good life is to have the right stuff, and none of the wrong stuff. I'm a pretty minimalist kind of guy, and like to keep things as simple as possible. This means that instead of wasting my time shopping, trying to make things work, or getting things fixed, I try to just buy stuff that works properly and make it work as efficiently as possible for my benefit with the minimum of fuss and trouble.

Sadly, this is a lot more difficult than I would like it to be. People seem to go out of their way to ensure that nothing is easy. Technology, in particular, is increasingly difficult to use and often makes life harder rather than setting me free or empowering me. I assume that everyone else has the same problem, so I'm starting to write about the battles as I fight them. Hopefully other people will benefit from reading about my experiences, problems and solutions - and maybe you can tell me about the ways in which you make your stuff work for you!

I recently bought this bike and like it a lot, but I should say that I am not a motorcycle enthusiast. I'm not interested in racing the bike, modifying it, or taking it off road. I plan to drive it reasonably legally on the public roads, as a means of transport and not a hobby. If you are like me, and simply looking for a light motorcycle but don't know much about them then these articles may be useful for you.

When researching before buying the bike I found very little information available online in English. Everything I did find was written by people with far more knowledge and enthusiasm than me, and I found it quite frustrating. This blog is intended to be a resource for ordinary people who don't know a sprocket from a flange and hope that they will never need to find out the difference.

If you find it useful, please link to it from your blog or website, as this makes it easier for other people to find. Thanks.
