Employability survey

I have a little project under way with some students from Cheng Yuan High School in Taipei.

Students in Taiwan work very hard to pass tests, with the ultimate goal of getting "a good job". But at the same time, employers are complaining that young people are not suitably trained and qualified for the demands of the modern workplace. There seems to be a big difference of opinion about what students should learn.

So we came up with a list of questions, and we're asking lots of different people for their opinions. The idea is that eventually we should be able to say " 83% of employers think X, but only 21% of teachers agree with them", or "most teachers and employers agree Y, but only a few students feel the same way".

I would be really grateful if you would complete the survey form. There are only ten questions: each is a statement and you simply have to rate how much you agree with it by selecting 1-5. It takes about five minutes,

To take the survey, just register at the site . You will be asked for your email address and a password, and the survey questions are listed underneath the registration form. If you're already registered here then click 'update your profile' and you will see a tab for the survey questions.

(You will be sent a confirmation email with a link to click on if you want to activate your profile and participate in the other activities on the site, eg by posting a comment. If you only want to complete the survey form it's not necessary to activate the registration.)

Many thanks for taking part

Chris
